How can I activate my bank account on bitcoin.de?
You can enter your bank account via the menu 'my Bitcoin.de' -> 'Settings' -> 'Bank account' -> 'Continue without Fidor bank account'.
Subsequently please verify your bank account by means of a test transfer via our payment service provider "Bitpayment.de" or "SOFORT-Überweisung" (KLARNA). In case your bank does not provide "SOFORT-Überweisung", we offer you an alternate procedure, where we will tarnsfer a small amount to your bank account with a code inserted in the reason for payment. After reception of the amount you need to insert the code into you account on bitcoin.de.
If you want to verify a foreign bank account, please note that your bank account is SEPA-capable. Many European banks are already part of the SEPA region and therefore they offer bank accounts that are SEPA-capable. In case of doubt if your bank account is approved for SEPA trading or not, you may ask a consultant of your bank.
