Why do I receive an error message upon using the confirmation link?
In rare cases it can happen that the confirmation link sent by e-mail by bitcoin.de can not be called or leads to a error message (404 error) immediately after the registration.
However, this is usually not a problem with our e-mail or the delivered link itself, but a known problem that can occur, especially by using some freemail providers and software products from Apple.
The link contained in the e-mail is misinterpreted by these software or service providers. To confirm your registration, you can try to mark the link manually with the cursor and then copy (right-click + "Copy") and paste it manually to the address bar of your browser (right-click + "Paste").
You are also welcome to forward the received link to support@bitcoin.de or via our contact form. We may then correct the link and validate your registration for you.
